Who is behind C&L Declarations?
C&L Declarations is run by an in-house customs team. We prepare and lodge import and export declarations on Revenue's AIS and AES ourselves, and work with trusted logistics and transit partners for freight, ferry bookings, warehousing and T1/T2 transit. In the Prestige Awards 2021/22 from Corporate LiveWire, C&L Declarations was named Customs Broker of the Year, Republic of Ireland.
What does C&L Declarations do?
✓ Import declarations Filed on Revenue's AIS, with the duty and VAT worked out.
✓ Export declarations Filed on Revenue's AES.
✓ GB-Ireland RoRo filings ENS, PBN, UK export declarations and GMRs.
✓ Excise exports EMCS e-ADs filed in-house together with the export declaration.
✓ Courier and parcel imports Import declarations for courier companies' consolidated loads.
✓ Cars, vans and moving home Vehicles from the UK, NI, Japan, Dubai and elsewhere; transfer of residence relief.
✓ An Irish desk for UK brokers Irish declarant for UK brokers and forwarders, billed monthly.
✓ Checks and holds Orange and red routings and HSE or Department of Agriculture holds, until release.
How do we work?
Everything is handled online and by phone, so you don't need to visit us. Send the invoice and the route by WhatsApp, email or the quote form, and we reply the same working day with a clear quote. Once you agree, we lodge the declarations, pay the duty and VAT through our Revenue account if you want, answer any Revenue check and send you the release, at Dublin, Rosslare, Cork or any other Irish port.
What do we arrange through partners?
Freight forwarding, ferry bookings, warehousing and storage, dangerous goods (ADR) transport and customs training are delivered through our logistics partners, with C&L Declarations as your single contact. T1 and T2 transit, for example through Northern Ireland, is arranged through our transit partner. VRT is separate from customs and from our fee. It is paid when the car is registered at an NCTS centre; we give you the customs documents for that appointment.
